What we do

Four things, done properly

Aluminium profile shutters & glass work

A slim aluminium frame around a glass panel, used where a solid door would close the kitchen down: display cabinets, the upper doors of a tall unit, a run of wall cabinets that needs breaking up. It is a small detail that changes how a whole kitchen reads.

Planning

Start with the layout

Layout is the decision everything else follows from. These are drawn to plan, with the sink–hob–fridge work triangle marked, so you can see how each one behaves in a room.

  • Plan view of a parallel kitchen layout S H F
Sink Hob Fridge Dashed line shows the work triangle

    Parallel

Two facing runs with a walkway between them.

Suits: Rooms longer than they are wide

The gap between the two runs is the whole decision. Around 4 feet is the comfortable middle. Below roughly 3.5 feet, drawers and appliance doors on opposite runs clash and two people cannot pass. Much above 5 feet and you spend the evening walking between sink and hob.

    Full comparison
  • Plan view of a l-shaped kitchen layout S H F
Sink Hob Fridge Dashed line shows the work triangle

    L-Shaped

Two adjoining walls, one continuous corner run.

Suits: Most apartment and villa kitchens

The corner is where cabinets go to die. A blind corner without a pull-out or a carousel gives you a cupboard you cannot reach into, and that is often a full cubic metre of wasted storage. Solve it at the drawing stage.

    Full comparison
  • Plan view of a u-shaped kitchen layout S H F
Sink Hob Fridge Dashed line shows the work triangle

    U-Shaped

Three walls in use, with the cook enclosed on three sides.

Suits: Larger rooms with three usable walls

It needs width. With three runs and two corners, a room under roughly 8 feet across will feel closed in. You also now have two blind corners rather than one, and the storage advantage only materialises if both get proper mechanisms.

    Full comparison
  • Plan view of a island kitchen layout S H F
Sink Hob Fridge Dashed line shows the work triangle

    Island

A freestanding counter separate from the main run.

Suits: Open-plan kitchens and living spaces

Islands are generous with space, not with it. You need roughly 3 feet of clear walkway on every side, so the room must be considerably larger than the island suggests. Putting a sink or hob in the island means running plumbing or gas into the floor — decide that before the slab work, not after.

How it works

From first message to handover

Five stages, in order. The full ten-step breakdown — including material selection and after-sales support — is on the process page.

  1. Square process visual for sending a kitchen enquiry to Ikka Kitchen

    01

    Enquiry

You send your city, room details and what you are looking for — by WhatsApp, phone, or the requirement builder on this site.

  2. Square process visual for a kitchen design discussion

    02

    Discussion

We talk through how you cook, what you store, who uses the kitchen and what you want it to look like. This shapes everything that follows.

  3. Square process visual for taking kitchen site measurements

    03

    Measurements

We measure the room properly: wall lengths, ceiling height, window and door positions, plumbing points, electrical points, beams and level variations.

  4. Square process visual for kitchen layout drawings and elevations

    04

    Drawings

With the measurements in hand, you receive a layout with cabinet positions, storage allocation and elevations, drawn to a realistic scope and budget.

  5. Square process visual for kitchen build, installation and handover

    05

    Build & handover

Cabinets are cut, edge-banded and assembled to the approved drawings, then installed and levelled on site. We walk the finished kitchen with you at handover.

Materials & craftsmanship

The parts you stop seeing after a week

Carcass board, edge banding, hinges, drawer runners, corner mechanisms. None of it is what sells a kitchen and all of it is what decides whether you are still happy with it in five years.

  • Carcass — plywood, with boiling-water-resistant grades in the wet zones
  • Edges — every cut edge banded and sealed against moisture
  • Shutters — laminate, acrylic, membrane, veneer, or profile and glass
  • Hardware — soft-close hinges and full-extension drawer systems

Design expertise

An architect on the plan before anything is made

Layout, circulation and service positions are reviewed with an architect while the design is still on paper — which is where the costly mistakes are cheap to fix.

Architect & team

Why Ikka Kitchen

What actually makes a difference

No award counts and no customer totals — we have not published figures we cannot evidence. These are the things about how we work that change the result.

  • Designed and made by the same team

The people who draw your kitchen are the people who manufacture it. Nothing is handed to a third party halfway through, so what was drawn is what gets built.

  • Planned around your room, not a catalogue

Every kitchen starts with a site measurement. Cabinet sizes follow your walls, windows, plumbing and beam positions rather than a fixed set of standard boxes.

  • Architectural input on the plan

Layout, circulation and service positions are reviewed with an architect before manufacturing — which is where the expensive mistakes usually get caught.

  • Hardware chosen for the way you cook

Drawer systems, corner mechanisms and lift-ups are specified to what you actually store and reach for, not applied uniformly across every unit.

Outstanding quality and stress-free process!

Rajneesh Tyagi and the team at Ikka Kitchen did an absolute masterclass with our new home in Jaipur. From the initial 3D design phase to the final installation, everything was seamless. The soft-close hardware, custom pantry pull-outs, and sleek acrylic finish came out even better than we visualized. Highly recommend them if you want top-tier modular solutions without the usual contractor headaches!

Priya Sharma

Transformed our cramped kitchen into a chef’s dream.

We reached out to Ikka Kitchen to renovate our old traditional layout. Mr. Rajneesh took the time to understand how we actually use our space every day. He optimized every single corner with clever drawer organizers and waterproof ply. The installation crew was punctual, clean, and extremely precise. Easily the best modular kitchen designer in Jaipur!

Vikram Rathore

Exceptional craftsmanship & premium materials.

What sets Ikka Kitchen apart is their attention to detail. Rajneesh Tyagi is genuinely knowledgeable about materials—he guided us away from overhyped finishes toward something durable, scratch-resistant, and easy to clean. The delivery and fitting were completed right on schedule. Two months in, and everything still functions smoothly like day one.

Megha & Rahul Verma

Professional, honest pricing, and top aesthetics!

Finding reliable interior professionals in Jaipur can be tough, but Ikka Kitchen exceeded our expectations. Rajneesh gave us a transparent quote with no hidden surprises later. The modern, handleless layout they designed for our bungalow gives the entire floor a luxury feel. Worth every single rupee!

Sanjay Agarwal

Fantastic after-sales service and design expertise.

Ikka Kitchen delivered a stunning L-shaped kitchen for our apartment. The spatial planning, lighting integration, and finish quality are elite. What impressed me most was their prompt response when we asked for a minor hob-alignment check after installation—Mr. Rajneesh sent a mechanic the very next morning. Customer service like this is rare!

Kavita Gupta

Tailor-made perfection for Indian cooking needs.

Rajneesh Tyagi truly understands how heavy-duty Indian cooking impacts kitchen surfaces. He helped us pick robust, heat-and-moisture-resistant materials without sacrificing a minimalist, high-end look. The chimney integration, oil pull-outs, and heavy basket drawers are placed so thoughtfully. Our family is thrilled with Ikka Kitchen!

Rohan & Neha Saxena

Found them through a friend's dinner party—best recommendation ever!

Last year during Diwali, we were having dinner at a friend’s place in C-Scheme and I couldn't stop staring at their stunning, seamless kitchen island. When I asked who did it, they immediately handed me Rajneesh Tyagi’s contact at Ikka Kitchen. Calling him was the best decision we made for our home renovation. Rajneesh designed a beautiful, highly functional parallel kitchen for us in Malviya Nagar. The craftsmanship and space management are flawless!

Aastha Joshi

Insta-scrolling led us to our dream kitchen.

I actually stumbled upon Ikka Kitchen while doom-scrolling interior design reels on Instagram late one night. A short clip of one of their matte-finish, handleless kitchen installs in Jaipur caught my eye, so I saved the post and DMed them the next morning. Rajneesh Tyagi personally got back to me, set up a showroom visit, and guided us through the entire process. The final product looks like something straight out of a design magazine!

Manish Khandelwal

Saved by a neighbour's direct advice!

We were originally dealing with an independent local carpenter who kept delaying our kitchen work for weeks and completely ruined the layout. Frustrated, I vented to our next-door neighbor, who urged me to stop the hassle and call Mr. Rajneesh Tyagi from Ikka Kitchen. Rajneesh stepped in, rescued the project, redesigned the space from scratch, and installed a heavy-duty, waterproof modular system in record time. Truly professional!

Sunita Bhasin

Discovered through our architect's highest praise.

When our architect finished the house structure, we asked him for the absolute best modular kitchen specialist in Jaipur. Without hesitating, he said, "Go talk to Rajneesh Tyagi at Ikka Kitchen." Now that the job is finished, we see why! The precision in fitting, the smooth drawer mechanisms, and the smart corner space utilization show why architects trust him. The kitchen has become the highlight of our entire house.

Deepak Mathur

Spotted their delivery truck down the street!

We actually learned about Ikka Kitchen in a pretty random way—I kept seeing their delivery truck parked near a newly built villa in our colony in Vaishali Nagar. Curious, I noted down the logo and name, looked them up online, and dropped by their office. Meeting Rajneesh Tyagi gave us instant confidence; he is so knowledgeable about materials built for heavy Indian cooking. Fast forward two months, and we are happily cooking in our dream space!

Pooja & Amit Choudhary

A word-of-mouth referral from our family elder.

My father-in-law is notoriously tough to impress when it comes to home furniture and contractor quality. A business associate of his insisted that we consult Rajneesh Tyagi at Ikka Kitchen before making any decisions. To our delight, Rajneesh won my father-in-law over instantly with his transparent pricing, solid ply quality, and structured installation timeline. The final modular setup is robust, gorgeous, and incredibly easy to clean.

Common questions

Frequently asked questions

How do I start a kitchen project with Ikka Kitchen?

Send us a message on WhatsApp or call us with your city and a few details about your room. We will talk through what you need, then arrange a site measurement. You can also use the requirement builder on the contact page, which assembles your details into a WhatsApp message for you.

Do you design and manufacture the kitchen yourselves?

Yes. Design, manufacturing and installation are handled by the same team, so the kitchen that gets built is the kitchen that was drawn. There is no handover to an outside contractor partway through.

Which kitchen layout is right for my room?

It depends on the shape of the room, which walls are usable, and where the plumbing and windows are. Our kitchen layouts page compares straight, parallel, L-shaped, U-shaped, island and peninsula arrangements in plan view, with the clearances each one needs. If you are unsure, send us your room dimensions and we will advise.

What are aluminium profile shutters?

A profile shutter is a slim aluminium frame holding a panel — usually glass. They are used for display cabinets, tall-unit fronts and wall cabinets where you want to see into the cabinet or break up a long run of solid doors. See our profile shutters and glass work page for the detail.

Can you renovate an existing kitchen rather than build a new one?

Yes. Renovation work ranges from replacing shutters and hardware on sound carcasses through to stripping the room back and rebuilding the kitchen entirely. Which makes sense depends on the condition of what is already there, which is something we assess at the site visit.

Do you work outside Jaipur?

Yes. Ikka Kitchen is based in Jaipur and serves clients across India for modular kitchen, profile shutter and glass-work projects. Share your city, room details and requirements, and we will confirm the planning, delivery and installation process for your location.
